AAVE is often portrayed as the language of gangsters and people from the wrong side of town. Any dialect is capable of communicating anything any other dialect can, and this series proves it. Thug Notes is a series where a guy speaking in AAVE analyses book. Not only does he do a great analysis, but it’s a great example of how you can use AAVE for anything.
