There are 7000 languages in the world (roughly, it’s hard to get a proper count), but only about 200 of them are written. If there is anyway we can change this, and encourage more people to write in their native language, it would go a long way to helping these languages. A lot of people feel that because their language doesn’t have any literature that it is not worth as much as written languages.
