I love looking up etymologies. They are little stories about the history of words. Some words in English come from and older form of the language called Old English. Some come from Norman French. Some come from Dutch. Some even come from the language of Vikings which is called Old Norse. Next time you see a cool word, why not look up its etymology. I am sure it will be an interesting read.
