What did Richard III sound like?

Reconstructing what a language used to sound like is very hard work. There are obviously no sound recordings from back in the 1400s. But we can make an educated guess based on a few factors. Some words rhymed then that don’t rhyme now. This can tell us which sounds were the same. We can also look at spelling (and misspelling) to see how people think something should be spelled (which will tell us how they pronounced it).
